Sulphur-dyed black jeans are increasing in market value year by year due to their rarity in the used clothing market. Sulphur dyeing is a technique of dyeing clothes using black sulfur dye. This dyeing method was used from the late 80s to the early 2000s, and its characteristic is that, because it's overdyed, it fades easily, developing a sumi-ink black color over time, and offering a distinct fade. Furthermore, sulphur dyeing is gradually being banned in Western countries due to environmental concerns. Given the above, it's certain that these will become even more popular in the future, making them a difficult item to acquire.
